Remembrance

My quarter-life crisis is finally over, but I got to remember a few things about myself. (Funny, ridiculous things mostly.) And now that'll be meeting an old friend next weekend, I decided to make an entry about some of the songs/singers I used to like back in my Uni days. :)

In alphabetical order, just for the sake of it...

All Saints - Lady Marmalade
Video's kinda boring, but I liked the song. And not because of the infamous French line, I swear!
Anyway,whatever happened to them?

Army of Lovers - Crucified
WTF?!? Hahahaha!
I never paid attention to the lyrics, but still tried to sing to the chorus. xDD

Britney Spears - Baby One More Time
Oh Em Gee! How could I?!? xD
Song sounds kinda lame now, but it's probably how my fascination with the schoolgirl look started. Still, it's Bitchney Britney dammit! *shudders*

Christina Aguilera - Genie in a Bottle
Such a mature and strong voice for a tiny girl, lol!
Sis liked this song, and I developed a liking because of her.

Dido - Here with Me
I was hooked on Roswell, big time. Therefore, I loved this song. :p
Seriously, the version used for the show was LOVE. *gushes*

Elvis Crespo - Suavemente
I so don't like this kind of music, but I was reading an awesome vampire story and a random someone was listening to this song in the vicinity. Therefore, I started liking it just for that. >_<"

Groove Armada - I See You Baby
This was pervy back then, and that's why I loved it. :p

Los Amigos Invisibles - Ponerte en Cuatro
Uhm... Stupid song, but I ended up liking it because it preceded an important and crucial event in my life. *nods*

Madonna - Music
Where would I be without her? Most of my childhood and teen years were filled with her music, until I just got into other stuff. *shrugs*
And this was the last song of her I liked, before going through my Gothic phase. ¬¬

Madonna - Ray of Light
Dunno why, but I really liked this song... Actually, I bought the album. ¬¬

Natalie Imbruglia - Torn
According to my then roommate, I was always drooling with this video. ¬¬
It was probably true, but she could have said nothing about it! >_<"

Patricia Kaas - Les Hommes Qui Passent
Finally, a serious song... which played a big role in my decision to study French. *nods*

Sin with Sebastian - Shut Up (and Sleep with Me)
Now, this is such a GHEI random video! xD
Actually, the darn song is from my high school days, but I still liked it in Uni. >_<"

Spice Girls - Too Much
*clears throat*
I LOVED all of their songs, even the boring ones. However, most of their YT videos are crappy quality. *glares*

Incidentally, I started thinking of showmances because of them, even considering writing a story about it, lol! Now, that would have been interesting... *whistles* Also, I had a bit of a crush on David Beckham back then. However, my friends never found him attractive. *roffles*

Texas - In Our Lifetime
I got all kinds of dykedelic vibes from this video, but was still too clueless to know why. *palmfaces* Still, this song rocked. *nods*

The Cranberries - Daffodil Lament
This song is LOVE.
The entire "No Need to Argue" album is LOVE, too. :D
My aunt gave it to me for my 15th birthday, and I carried it around for years. *sighs* And the few times I bothered studying in uni, this album was always played at least once.

Toni Braxton - Makin' Me High
I was indirectly introduced to this song by my then roommate. In any case, it was instant love for me... Probably because I was reading a steamy piece of Xena uber fiction. :p

Vengaboys - Boom Boom Boom Boom
Such a ghei song, and I loved it to pieces. Heck, I even had this fag hag crush on that sailor boy. (No wonder I drool over like SNSD now!) However, I don't remember watching the video before, and it's probably for the best. Nosebleeds would have happened to me otherwise, repeatedly! xD
