My bleeding ears!

For all the time I've spent watching anime and fangirling over Asian girlbands, one would think I'm already used to (and fond of) the high pitched voices some girls have. Sadly, that's not the case. *nods* And now that I've started "researching" AKB48 too, my dislike for this idol practice has intensified. xD

Of course, this doesn't mean I dislike ALL high pitched voices, but some of them just kill me. T_____T"

For example:


Kusumi Koharu
I wouldn't mind her voice so much if it sounded a bit more natural. If any, it wasn't so displeasing to me during her auditions.

Tsugunaga Momoko
She used to speak in a husky voice before her debut (@ 1:00), but now she's just a burikko. I've learnt to tolerate her, but only when she's around any other H!P girl... or when she's not talking. xD

Kasai Tomomi
This girl's got me in a pinch. There are moments when I like her voice, but sometimes it drives me crazy. :| It probably depends on the situation... (Damn, she's so cute! >.<")

Kojima Haruna
I don't mind her voice that much, but her nasality can get boring after a while. ¬¬

Choi Soo Young
Everything's ok with her, until she decides to display aegyo... x_x


I'm sure they are not the only ones whose voices I cannot tolerate, but couldn't remember other girls at the moment. >.> However, I suddenly recalled this one singer whose high pitched voice I found kind of pleasing: Vitas. xD *thumbs up* (Yup, a man.)

Oh, there's Volkova, too. I never minded her belochka voice. *whistles*
